The goal of our admissions process is to enroll motivated students
whose academic achievements and /or academic promise indicate that
they can be successful in a rigorous program. Good citizenship is
an equally important consideration. We place a high value on geographic,
ethnic, and socio-economic diversity.
The application forms, teacher evaluations, academic records, standardized
testing, and in-person visits all play a part in our admissions
decisions. After we receive an application, we invite the applicant
to spend a day with her/his prospective class. Since there are several
forms to complete and the $75 admission fee to be paid before an
applicant's folder can be reviewed, we encourage parents to stay
in close touch with the Admissions Office to avoid unnecessary delays.
Once an applicant's folder is complete, the Admissions Committee
will meet to review the applicant. For classes where there is available
space, the Admissions Director and the Head of School, may decide
to admit the applicant as soon as the folder is complete. For classes
that are fully enrolled a new applicant may be accepted to a "wait
pool." After re-enrollment of current students is complete
in March, students in the "wait pool" will be offered
contracts as space becomes available.
Parents accept the offer of enrollment by returning the signed
contract with the non-refundable deposit by the contract deadline.
The enrollment deposit is then credited toward tuition.
